How long can I rent a bag for?

Bags are available for a 3-to-14-day period rent. The minimum and maximum rental period is 3 and 14 days respectively.

How is the 3- or 14-day period calculated?

The day of bag receipt is considered as Day 1.

i.e. For a 3-day rental period, bags received on the 1st must be returned by the 3rd.

i.e. For a 14-day rental period, bags received on the 1st must be returned by the 14th.

When should I arrange for return pick-up?

Please arrange for return pick-up at least 1 day in advance.

Is pre-booking available?

You can pre-book a bag 2 months in advance. Full payment is required to confirm the dates of rental.

Please contact us if you require a change in dates after booking. 

Can I rent the bag if I am not Singaporean?

Proof of address i.e. telephone bill is required before item is delivered.

Can I rent a bag if I am under 18?

Persons under 18 will require a parent or guardian to rent items on their behalf. Parent / guardian agree to accept all liabilities.

Do you deliver out of Singapore and is delivery free?

We offer free domestic delivery for orders above $90.

What happens if an item is not returned on the return date?

An additional daily rental fee will be charged. Fee is dependent on the bag rented.

What happens if the bag is damaged or stolen during the rental period?

The Customer accepts full responsibility for the safekeeping and return of the bag to Open Space in the same condition as which it was received.

 

Please do not attempt to repair or clean the bag. We have an in-house cleaning specialist to ensure that products are in great condition. We do not charge for minor cleaning. However, if the bag undergoes major restoration or is damaged beyond repair, you will be liable for the cost of the repair or replacement.

 

In the event that the Customer or any third party has stolen, lost or has not returned the bag, Open Space will seek to recover the full value of the bag.

Does Open Space have a physical store?

We are available online only. Please contact us for self-collection.

Are bags authentic?

We partner with LegitGrails to ensure that all designer handbags are 100% authentic.

What is the condition of the bag?

Bags are in good condition, and we only lease out bags that we would be happy carrying.

What does the Damage Insurance cover?

It covers dirt and makeup stains, stuck zipper, light scratches and other minor signs of usage. It does not cover missing and broken bag, bag parts, colour transfer, deep scratches, burns and other major restorations.
